"The Comeback" has been cancelled

According to www.eonline.com, HBO has cancelled Lisa Kudro's show "The Comeback". Rats, I thought it got better and better with each episode.

Thank God. She was quite horrible. PTB ~ Do not hire her ever again...well....Hollywood Squares, you can hire her. I'm sure she'd be a decent center square.

Center square is the glue - she'd never make it.

I gave the show a couple episodes and that was all I could stand. A one joke show.

I just want them to make one more show where Paulie G gets what is coming to him. I also found the show painful to watch, but I would tune in every now and then in the hopes that I would get to see her kick Paulie between the uprights...

This show tried too hard. They tried NOT to be predictable, but ended up being predictable in that you could predict the unexpected.

There were some laughs, but I found myself really trying hard to like it. I never cancelled the SP, but just let the shows fade away unwatched.

I only made it through the first 4 episodes. Its the first HBO series I started to watch and gave up on. Don't get me wrong, I thought Lisa Kudrow was doing a fantastic job simply from an acting standpoint, but the show itself was just far too painful to watch.

same here. I think I made it through 4, maybe 5, episodes. It just wasn't that funny or enjoyable so I bailed on it.

"painful to watch". Yep. Good riddance. I guess HBO can't hit them all out of the park.

I don't get this show, but I heard that Charla, the little person from The Amazing Race 5 was on that show, so that's pretty cool.

I almost worked up some sympathy for the Valerie character in the final show until the end. She didn't care how much the reality show abused her as long as the got some applause. Pitiful.

I won't miss it either. I guess this explains why I saw the actor that played her hairdresser at the local pizza place last week.

I had trouble getting into it, but eventually grew to rather enjoy it. And Juna was HAWT!
