My pioneer 810H tivo keeps unceremoniously locking up. The video gets a little jumpy then just freezes. It turned out to be the hard drive when this happened a couple years ago so I tried a brand new drive. Unfortunately the new drive didn’t help at all since it froze up again last night.
One other thing, it seemed to work fine with the original software revision that gets restored when I put in a new drive, everything goes to hell after the service update to 7.2.1.
What else could be causing lockups? Could it be a bad power supply since they can cause weirdness in desktop PCs?
1-3 second delay when remote commands are sent
Frozen system, same video frame held perpetually
