Well it seems that I've been promised twice that I was getting a credit for my TiVo service, but twice I have not seen anything on my credit card.
The quick backstory:
I got a 140-hour referral unit and ended up having to RMA it because it was defective. After being promised a new unit I was shipped a refurb and then told new units were no longer available. Due to this annoyance, I was offered 2 months worth of credit and an additional month for loss of time due to the shipping of the unit to TiVo and then back to me in NY. No credit appeared.
I called TiVo about three weeks ago and was told they saw the notes on my account to give the credit but they weren't sure why it wasn't put through. I was assured that it was going through and to see it on my statement within 14 days.
Well.... guess what. I STILL don't have my credit. Now I love TiVo and cannot live without it but this is just annoying that I was greatly inconvenienced and the compensation that I felt was adequate still has not been given. On top of this, it's all with a referral unit that took me 5-people to get.
Is it THAT hard to issue a credit back to my debit card? This is just annoying at this point. When I get home from work today, I'm calling in yet again and just getting a supervisor on the phone.
