OK, now I have to go.

We'll need to coordinate a trip to this place with the big Grand Reopening of Chez Skittles next year.

I love this picture. Something about Lord Vader carring a cafeteria tray just cracks me up.

Great idea! Great pics!

Which is why Eddie Izzard cracks me up.

I have to agree-that lunch place is not at all what I expected.

How did Jeff (the owner not Smeek) react? Good stuff. Too bad the Vader suit smells like meat now

Jeff took it all in stride....

He did ask if Darth had proper ID for the credit card.

Next time I'm in Dallas, you're on!

BTW, you can get buffalo burgers in the cafeteria of the National Museum of the American Indian here in D.C. I'm sure they're not as good as the ones at Ye Olde Butcher Shop, but they're not bad.

And the patrons rarely wear Darth Vader outfits, even though the museum is right next to the Air & Space Museum.

You guys should have done a Jazz hands Avator shot.

Also great job on the home made suit. where did you get the helmet? was it the $30 on from Wal-mart? I want one of them but I think my head is to big.

Has this thread always been in the Meets forum? If so, good!

I could have sworn it was originally in Happy Hour. It wouldn't have belonged there. I mean, it's not like anyone who didn't actually attend this particular "meet" would be in any way interested nor amused by these pictures. It's not like it might encourage them to participate in our conversation, take that leap of faith, attend a meet... and join our happy party of friends. No... file it, keep it where it belongs. Here in the Meets forum.

Where we can talk about the planning and reminiscing of meets.
