Are you getting a rental, or do you need a ride?

That would be a rental, wouldn't it?

Actually, I think the original idea is that my wife was going to pick her up, but are you going to be in the area anyway?

I'll be closer than your wife... Unless she works in the area. With the new section of the tollway open, DFW is 15 minutes (and $1.50) closer.

Oooh, I'd forgotten that 190 is now open from 635 all the way to 75. VERY excellent... and since I live right around the corner from 190, it makes my airport runs that much easier.

One thing to watch for on the "Super Connector" (the 635 to 35E section of 190): We're not the only ones that knows it's open, and 190 eastbound is INSANE during the afternoon rush hour from 635 to past the DNT.

Still better than 635, mind you.

I drove 190 from Airport Freeway (yeh, it's 161 there, whatever) all the way to 75 today with my shiny new TollTag. Mighty sweet! But the cops were out in force. Be careful!

Its insane eastbound all the way to the Main Toll Plaza at Coit Road. Seems to be okay after that. I used to drive home at 6:30 westbound and watch all the lines of cars. I guess it backs up when everyone has to stop to pay the toll.

Yeah, Carrollton PD sits out between 35 and Midway and DPS sits out between Midway and 75. Watch your speed.
