Adding Tivo to my wireless network.

I have everything connected and working properly. I have a wireless USB adapter stuck into the tivo ready to transfer files to my computer. I can't add the USB adapter to my computer. I dont know how. I enter the IP addresses but it still wont configure.

Hopefully you bought an adapter that is compatable with Tivo. Most are not. Check the support section of Tivo.com for your model Tivo to see which ones will work.

Oh I did. It's D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G Wireless Router. I just cant get my computer and Tivo to communicate.

He's talking about the wireless adapter you pluged into the Tivo as not being compatable, not your router. It doesn't usually matter what router you use (as long as it'll handle the signal type [g and/or b] of course), but the Tivo-compatable adapters are limited.
