That depends on how you pronounce Data. Some people pronounce it with a long 'a' which makes it sound like your word. However others pronounce it with a short 'a' which makes it sound nothing like your word.

Personally I use the latter.

The first question (the A/V equipment one) has Expert and Intermediate backwards. Now you could be doing that to see if people are paying attention, but I doubt it.

Why no option (beyond "Other") for people connecting to a LAN? A lot of apartment/condo communities around here share a (full or fractional) T1 line, so it's not just a campus thing.

Survey Yes/No?

FYI:
On my browser...

The survey Page titled : Home Entertainment/Electronics Information
is visually confusing on the Yes / No and the position of the checkboxes.

"No" is listed under the selection for Yes. I believe this is caused by the No looping off the screen to the next line. I use IE6

Hopefully yes was the first choice, otherwise they're going to think i'm living in 1950.

Any idea of this is only for S2 users, or is this the big rollout of groups/folders to us S1 types and possibly even HMO/TiVo2Go via CacheCard?

There should be a way to indicate that you have more than one operatinig system available, and a place to record multiple TiVo Service numbers for those of us who have more than one DVR.

You can record multiple TSNs at the end of the application -- you might have to go to the app a second time to get the page, though.

(pick me!)

Series 1 development is dead! If you want the new features you'll have to upgrade.

I agree they need a place to mention you have both Mac and PC... I have 2 primary computers: a PC with Windows XP and a Mac laptop with OS X. I also have a G4 cube running OS X and a Windows 98 box that gets used once in a while. All 4 of these have TiVo desktop installed on them. My iMac with OS 9 is used only by my kids. I'd be happy to beta test using any or all of these machines.

For those noticing the placement of the radio buttons being slightly mis-aligned on the questionnaire (if you can't tell which button is "yes" and which one is "no"), try grabbing your IE window and manually resizing it a bit narrower. You'll see the radio button selections line up the way they should be.

By the way -- If you're running Mac OSX (I'm running 10.3.5), you pretty much can't use either Safari or Internet Explorer as the browser for the forms -- the radio button choices don't seem to "stick". It does work if you use Mozilla though (and probably FireFox too)

You can, because I tried it again with a windows machine and everything that I put in was there.
