Is there a way to add people to an ignore list so you don't see their posts?

Click on the persons name on the right, select View Public Profile and on the center area of information you will see "Add "member name" to Your Ignore List".

I assume that the ignored person doesn't know he's being ignored, right? Which means he might continue posting posts assuming that the ignorer is listening.

is there also a way so that when someone who is ignored gets quoted by someone else, the quote gets blanked out as well? I've seen this on other message board systems.

Actually, I think it's be nice if there was a way that when you ignore somebody, the ignoree can't see the ignorer's posts either, but I don't think it works that way.

Also, is there a way not to see threads by the person(s) you are ignoring?
