For what purpose?

Most of my access to my TiVo is through a web browser (TiVoWebPlus), through a telnet session (to a bash prompt), through a web server (TiVoFTPD or MFS_FTP), or through xAP (www.xapautomation.org)

Since an iMac supports Outgoing Web Connections, Outgoing Telnet Connections and Outgoing FTP connections, I'd say that those are your options, but without know what you want to do with it, it's a stab in the dark. I don't know if there are xAP "bits" for an iMac, but I can guess that there are...

HTH,

Bushman

well with any of standalones, right NOW there is no easy way to move video from TiVo to Mac, but supposedly ina few months TiVo inc will rectify that situation.

Assuming you've got your mac on a broadband network, you can download .tivo files to your mac, but you won't be able to do anything with them except archive them for the possibility that Tivo will support Macs. They say it will happen in "mid-2006" I don't know whether to believe a date that far off is capable of firm prediction.
