adding another hard drive to my DirecTivo

can I just add any hard drive to my DirecTivo, or do I have to buy one from weakness? also, whats the largest drive I can get? thanks.

You can use any PATA hard drive big enough. However, there are some that are troublesome in TiVos, others that work like a dream.

TCD240080, 160 GB HDD.
FC3 Linux box running Galleon.
TiVo desktop on XP machine.
