Question Question about Program Guide

Anyone know how long it takes for the tivo to acquire programming schedules for new channels, such as 378 which started today?

Thanks

First, make sure the new channel is checked on your "Channels You Receive" list. It should start acquiring data immediately. It may take a day or so to get the full 11 days out.

Check Zap2It.com and see if the info is listed there. If it is, then it should be the next download.

what's 378? It doesn't appear yet on the DirecTV channel line up page yet.

I just noticed 378 today. It is labelled as NRB. I believe it is a religion based channel.

It'll be a few weeks before it shows up on DirecTV's programming page.

I don't believe the OP was referring to an initial install, but the programming of a new channel.

This looks like a new channel that D* had been waiting to start. It may be getting the to be announced because they don't have the guide information. I know that they had the same problems with the new russian channels, they are getting To Be announced because there is no information available. Although I don't think I will be interested in this channel.
