Getting two DTivo's to share a gaming adapter

Can you buy one gaming adapter and hook it up to a router then run two network cables to hacked DTivos and get them to work OK on your network?

Depends on the particular gaming adapter and how it attaches to the access point. If you can ping both the adapter's IP and the TiVo's IP from another node on the LAN, then the odds are good. If the game adapter is only visible from the wired side of the adapter, then it is unlikely to support two attached devices.

Multiple Network Adapters

Is it possible to plug two network adapters into the Tivo series 2. Possibly speeding thruput?

You can plug in two adapters, but it won't speed up anything - a given transfer will only use one adapter.
