Hi everyone,

Just felt like saying i bought a TiVo today off eBay and can't wait to start using it! I can now say i am an official TiVo owner

Cool,
Are you aware that some TV's Sony, Toshiba, Philips (but not Panasonic) do not like Tivo s/w 2.5.5 but require 2.5.5a ?

Normal problem being TV locks up

Also has your Tivo been upgraded to a larger hard drive ( > 160Gb) If yes beware if you need the 2.5.5a fix.

Lastly, have you downloaded the Tivo manuals from http://www.tivo.co.uk/1.2.asp

Hi
I bought a great Tivo from Tivoland on ebay
It's been a god send this christmas as my daughter has been ill for over two weeks and you can record lots of 9yr old viewing!!
I can only just remember simpsons is at 6pm whereas it used to schedule homework time!!
Also I only have to set recording once for a fortnight of viewing. COOL! I have tivoweb which makes it soooooo easy.
I hope you enjoy it, it's been a great hit in this house!
