My locals have been out since 6pm except for local PBS channel.

It's interesting that such reports are rare here at AVSforum and DBStalk but rampant at the Direct TV forum. It's almost like people who have better information about how things work woudn't bother reporting a sleet induced loss of service. Over there, satellites have mysteriously malfunctioned, maybe from an end of year virus attack.

While I may link to and mention products as examples, I don't recommend specific products.
