Ever since I installed Tivo Desktop 2.2 (as well as received the updates to my tivo boxes), I can no longer play my music playlists (.m3u files) on tivo. The only way I can play the playlists now are if the only list a handful of songs. I am on a wireless connection so I'm sure that has something to do with it, although nothing has changed with the network.
Before the "upgrades" everything worked fine so I'm wondering if there is some setting somewhere that I haven't seen.
I am having the same problem. When I go to my "Music and Photos" on my Tivo, nothing shows up anymore, music OR photos (trying to play mp3's). I've tried rebooting the Tivo and my USB/internet, but no luck....
If the playlist has any songs with international characters in the filenames, 2.2 will choke on them. Galleon can handle them, as can older versions of TiVo Desktop. You can tell if this is the problem by looking at the playlist on the TiVo; if, in place of any of the songs, you see the folder it's in, it won't work. Remove those items from the playlist and it'll work. If you have a lot of world music, this is a real pain in the butt. I've reported the bug a few times, no response, so I hope they're fixing it. I bet it's a two minute fix, too.
