You may not be able to hear it, but I swear I atleast here "no survivors".

Evidently I am not that lonely afterall.

Sure they may not have gotten the idea from this thread, but they got wind of the confusion somehow. And to be honest, "we're the survivors" would be a better storyline. I would not mind it if that is what they said, but it is not what I heard them say.

Either case I got whoknows55 on my side, game over! :-) (Hey man hows it going?)

I heard "Il n'y a aucun survivant du vol Océanique 815." And it only took three hours of computer enhancement to prove that's what I heard!

Y'all sent my parents to a collection service I don't have your back anymore.

I heard it "there were no" the first time but I had captions on so trainaman affected my brain.

Let's get back to the real debate, what did Hurley say?

Technically what Shannon did was "interpreting," which involves the spoken word (or signs in the case of sign language). Translating involves writings. At least that's what they always taught us in the French department at college.

I didn't think there were enough pointless arguments on this thread.

And by the way:
1. It was "goth."
2. The transmission Boone was listening to was unintelligible IMHO, but it would be possible to hear "there were no" without being influenced by CC. After all the person doing the CC couldn't have been influenced by it.
