Just Mom and Bobby. Chelsea has to go do Color Guard stuff for football, since Berkner made it into the playoffs.

Oh, that's not so bad (at least, not for me anyway). I was worried we'd be talking more than $15 per person.

Dinner is between $15-$20 but I think they put out the seafood on that line.

It looks like there is an El Fenix a couple of blocks from the theatre if anyone is up for full service Mexican food.

Mmmm, Mexican. And it's right down the block from the theater, as well.

I'm game for that, or Genghis Grill.

I missed this until now. If anyone comes up with 2 or 3 extra tix, please PM me. My daughter hasn't seen a Potter flick yet, but she should be able to sit still during it.

I'm up for Genghis. The movie is 2:37 in duration, so looks like 5:00PM would be the absolute earliest that we could do it. Should we shoot for 5:30? It would be me and the missus attending (no kids).

Since enough folks have mentioned Genghis Grill, and no one's really given it a Nay, let's just go ahead and make our post-movie gathering at the Genghis Grill.

I'll probably be there shortly before 1pm just to make sure I get a decent spot in line. Since the theater has sold out, and the seating is pretty limited, I don't want to get stuck in the front row. Just come find me when y'all get there.

Are we gonna go with 5:30 for the time at Genghis?

Yeah, 5:30 is good. Since we'll likely end up lingering outside the theater for a few minutes just chatting, 5:30 sounds like a good timeframe.

And to be clear: We're going to the Genghis Grill in Addison at Midway and Belt Line, right?

Actually, I was thinking of the one at 35 and Northwest Highway, since it's closer to the theater.

According to Yahoo! Maps...

5.1 miles from LBJ/Josey to GG at I35 & Loop 12
4.3 miles from LBJ/Josey to Midway & Belt Line in Addison

Of course, we'll do whatever the group wants to do.

But them's crow-miles, not Dallas traffic miles.

Thanks to everyone that came out. I enjoyed the pre-movie queue-wait, the mad scramble for seats "together", and the dinner afterwards. The only bad part about it was Emma Watson's melodramatic overacting!

Had a GREAT time last night. Thank you again, Martin, for recommending Genghis Grill. I just loved the food there, and plan to go back in the near future.
