pink screen

hi, been an avid tivo user now for two years , got a upgraded tivo with lifetime 160 gig , now got a problem when i go to live tv i get a very blurred pink screen and it justs stays the same even when i change channel or try .but everything seems fine when playing back previously recorded stuff off hard drive , do you thinkj it is a hd problem or some thing else any advice please .

What's your programme source - eg. Aerial, Freeview, Sky?

If you press the "aux" button on the remote, what do you see?

Have you checked the Scart leads? They can easily move slightly and you may get only part of the signal - crap design basically!

Check all - STB, TiVo, TV and of course your anntena connection of choice.

Sounds like thew STB > TiVo Scart as recorded shows are OK.

Tell me about it I had exactly the same problem this morning. I spent 30 mins re-seating every SCART connected to my Tivo and re-booting a couple of times. Only then did I realise it was the one coming OUT of my cable STB that was the problem
