Would anyone consider Minneapolis?

It's only eight hours from here and the only meet I'd have a reasonable shot of getting to in the forseeable future. There's plenty to do, including the Mall of America and Valley Fair.. The airport has a major Northwest hub, so cheap flights can be had from places like Detroit and Memphis.

Also, it's far enough from South Carolina that I probably wouldn't have to worry about CatBurger00 showing up.

Well, not necessarily this time of year. I'm thinking more of mid-late spring or early summer.

Also, I'm in North Dakota. Much colder here than Minneapolis.

Absolutely. I'd LOVE to go to Minneapolis and catch up with some college friends in the meantime. I was actually going tto ask this myself at some point.

Depending on timing, I might be there. My mother-in-law and brothers-in-law are still in Rochester, so I could probably drop Mrs. AJRitz and the Bug there on the way.

A couple of our best friends live in Rochester, so Mrs. DougF and our little trouble-makers would probably be hanging there as well.

Funny you should mention that. I was just thinking about that.

I'm a terrible car driver/rider, though (just ask Sean-I drive him nuts), so I was also just hoping flights from Bloomington would be cheap.

Hey! Maybe if it's when Sean can go, you could ride with us-that means free gas!

It's a 5 hour drive for me, but if I had the weekend off (or it were summer) I'm in.

I don't mind the drive at all ... and I tell my passengers to sit in the back and shut up ! ! !

It looks like the flights connect in O'Hare, we could meet there!

Car fulla wimmen would be a great way to kill time during a long drive. That'd probably be a good thing.

Or, we force Sean to drive, the gas is free, and we drive him nuts with the girl talk!

I can see (hear) it now. Angie, On Course, and SueAnn plan Angie's wedding in the car on the way to Minneapolis, with Sean driving the entire way smiling and nodding. Sean, this is a good time to practice your mantra. Repeat after me: "Yes, dear."

I'm in. We talked about this at Dallas. I think we could get a few people in. I'll send some PMs and see what kind of interest there is.
