2006 Calendar

Do you have your 2006 Calendar ready?

I got a Jack Russell 2006 Calendar for Christmas (thanks DJITHM!) that I'm ready to put up in my office for the new year.

What's yours?

My "fun to look at" calendar is Take me Out to the Ballpark '06. My "actual use" calendar is MS Outlook and my Blackberry.

I used to get a calendar for Christmas every year from my husband so I never bought one. He died 3 1/2 years ago and I still don't buy a calendar until after Christmas. Just a habit, I guess. I never really thought about it until this thread.

My wife got me another Simpson's wall calendar this year - just like last year. It was kind of lame last year and hasn't changed much.

The year before she got one from despair.com, and that was funny.

Maybe I'll grab one this weekend.

Outlook is my scheduling calendar.
I haven't seen my hand held in months - I had a tendency to let the battery run down because I wasn't using it. It's in one of the drawers of my desk.

I carry a small paper company calendar around to jot appointments in (old habits die hard).

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit day by day calendar will be taking up the space occupied in 2005 by the Dilbert day by day calendar at the office.

We've got the calendar dad left for us when he was out here in the summer. (Before he died ). He brought it with him to save him the bother of posting it. He's been sending us something similar for years:

There's also the MINI Owner's Lounge calendar, its an unofficial product from the official MINI web site (and it features one of my pictures for May.):

I don't have a wall calendar yet. Maybe I'll find a cool one on sale this month.

I have an Ansel Adams calendar lined up for the left slot next year. In my office, I like to keep 2 calendars, with the one on the right being 1 month ahead. The one of the left is usually something like Ansel Adams or DaVinci or something like that.

The one on the right has been Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Degas ballerina paintings... Right now, the one on the right is Audrey Hepburn, but that's Dec - It should be the month ahead, but I don't have the replacement lined up.

Any suggestions? Basically looking for a calendar with a hot girl that coworkers will laugh at me, rather than report me to HR as establishing a hostile workplace environment. Can't find a J.L.Hewitt calendar on amazon...

This year is the Non Sequitur calendar, only because I couldn't find one with Tigers on it. (Wild ones, not the ones from Detroit, Clemson, LSU, etc
