Replace HDMI Card

Is it possible to take the HDMI card from one HD TiVo and replace it with another?

i have a HD TiVo that does not work when using the HDMI port.

I just received a new one with that does work with the HDMI port.

My dilemma is that the bad HD TiVo has been upgraded with a 300GB drive and I have about 50 to 60 hours of HD shows that I have not watched yet.

Can I take the HDMI card from the new TiVo and replace the one that is bad in the old one? That is if the HDMI card is what is actually wrong or if it is removable.

In theory, yes. But be very careful when replacing the card to avoid damaging the card or the motherboard.
