TiVo Symbol Fell Off

Hi, kinda stupid question, but just dumped $400. The TiVo symbol just fell off the front of my brand new TiVo box. Can I just superglue this thing back on? there is a glue/sticky substance behind it, but it isn't holding the symbol in place for long. I now see a bright light (circle).

I didn't know if the remote or something uses the area behind the TiVo symbol.

Thanks in advance.

This has been talked about before and I believe that they used glue to put it back in place.. Hope it works for you.

It happened to me, man. I'd link you to the thread but I don't know how. Ya, Glue works very fine. I recommend anything super.

This seems to be a common problem. Luckily it's easily fixed with a little dab of super glue.

hmm, you should probably bring the tivo box back to the store. it won't work correctly without the tivo guy on the front of it.

and that is sarcasm. my tivo guys have fallen off before. glue him back on and he probably won't ever fall off again

Thanks for the info. I did a search, but didn't use "My Tivo Guy" ;-)

Here is another thread

http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-v...tivo+glue+front

Thanks for the input. I'll get the ole' supper glue out and remove the current "sticky" substance.
