Can I install MythTV on my Series 1 Tivo?

I have a Tivo Series 1 Sony SVR2000. It is totally virgin (1 drive and no expanded hardware).

Is it possible to install some base form on Linux and also MythTV on this box? If not, then is there another pre-packaged PVR system that I can install on this box? I'd love to turn it into a system that I can play with.

How about a series 2 Tivo? There's one for sale for $20 at a local thrift shop.

No, it is a rediculously slow computer. I believe series 1's ran at about 50 Mhz, and series 2's at 200 Mhz. Not to mention the fact that the Tivo has somewhat proprietary hardware for video ins and outs.
