I'm sorry. I have a problem with a montage that frames 12 Angry Men, Network, and Serpico in the same light as the remake of Gloria with Sharon Stone. Every director has a few bombs. Let's leave them in the past, forgotten, where they belong.

Yes, very "Star Search" / "American Idolish". Next thing you know, we'll here Chris Rock going, "Go to www.oscars.com *now* people to vote for who *you* want to win!"

So here in wester PA, we had an Amber Alert appear on screen just as Morgan Freeman was announced the winner. So the whole time he's walking to the stage, the T.V. is bleeping out the emergency tone. Then when he starts giving his speech, we got to hear a description of the child they're looking for, along with a decription of the car he was taken away in. And just as we're about to go to commercial, the regular audio kicks back in. Yeah, cozied up on Sunday night, watching the Academy Awards. - If I happen to see a gold colored sedan drive through my living room, I'll be sure to tell the authorities.

Vin Diesel with bad hair as a lawyer? No. No no no. Unsexy, unfunny, unappealing. Yuck. I wish I had four hands, so I could give that four thumbs down.

I'm sorry, any director that makes "The Wiz" and "Gloria" doesn't deserve an Oscar.

Hey, The Wiz helped remind us, as a nation, of many things. Like the fact that Diana Ross was still alive after so many years.

Actually, what you're seeing is Eugene Levy in his Martin Scorsese makeup.

Seriously, look at him and think of Eugene Levy from Mighty Wind. It's downright eerie.

Now, now. We give Best Director Oscars for a particular movie, not a body of work. Just because Speilberg made "1941" doesn't make "Schindler's List" any less deserving.

Was that American Express commercial paid for by the New York Board of Tourism? I don't get it. I got the Ellen Degeneres one, where they explain that even spastic people can get credit cards. This one... nothin'.

New Oscar drinking game-drink anytime you see a stage hand running offstage.

And good god, it's another mermaid dress.

Holy Toledo! Now I see why Emily Rossum was ranked #1 on E! Online's fashion poll.

I can see that becoming the #1 prom dress this June.

Now see, that girl from Phantom is kinda foxy. She reminds me of Shannon Elizabeth.

Her hair is great. And that's the exact kind of dress you wear when you don't have big ta-ta's.

And Beyonce is pulling double duty tonight I see.
