Starts approximately May 16, 2005. Some time zones may get upgrade in late June. (Exact schedule to be determined.)
If you have 2 or more DVRs, they may not get upgraded at exactly the same time. It depends on when their callback occurs.
Version after upgrade: 6.2
Messages and Setup.
"Software Version" displays the current version.
Features with upgrade:
Guide is faster.
Searches are faster in WishList and Season Pass.
You can group similar recorded shows into folders.
You can sort the Now Playing list alphabetically or by date recorded.
To get upgrade:
Keep receiver plugged in. Does not need to be turned on.
Keep phone line connected.
After TiVo daily call, upgrade automatically occurs within 24 hours.
Either wait for TiVo daily call, or use "Make Daily Call Now" option.
"Current Call Status" will display "Pending Restart."
This means upgrade was received.
Receiver will reset itself.
TiVo logo appears with message that new software has been installed.
You may see menu changes, or may need to reset some of your settings.
If upgrade fails, or does not complete:
Confirm that phone line is connected.
TiVo callback must occur.
Wait 24 hours for next automatic upgrade.
If upgrade still fails:
If you have Call Waiting, it could interrupt the upgrade.
Disable Call Waiting:
Messages & Setup.
Recorder and Phone Setup.
Change Dialing Options.
Set Call Waiting Prefix.
Enter *70. To do this, wtih remote, press CLEAR, 7, 0, PAUSE.
Accept and Test New Options.
After upgrade, you can re-enable Call Waiting.

I just got my notice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I think this makes me the second Coloradoan to post to this thread about getting the upgrade in Colorado. I have a friend on Colorado Blvd and will check with him along with another buddy in old Colorado City and a friend at Colorado College. That should confirm the notices in Colorado.
