Nothing here in Centreville, VA, yet. Has anyone received 6.2 in Northern VA or the DC Metro area?

Nothing yet on my Samsung 4040 in Houston, TX.
Although in the past week I have had a total of three drives in the unit. After making a full backup of the original drive, I now have it back in the unit. None of my drives show anything in /var/packages (I thought that's where the 6.2 slices were supposed to have been downloaded to). So 3 days ago I figured I would just leave the original drive in the unit and force a call each day. Still nothing.

/var packages is where it's suggested you put them if you install manually. The software actually is stored in slices in your mfs file system.

No go on my HDVR2 in Boston. (we'll probably be one of the last one's to get it, as usual)

Been forcing a call in 2 or 3 times a day, since the 16th. Ain't done a damn thing....

but frustrate the living crap out of me.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait like everybody else.

I also have an R-10, so I already know what folders and faster speed is all about. Just would like to get 6.2 for my HDVR2, with the 160 gig Weaknees add on.

This baby is almost completely maxed out, and it's slow as hell right now. I'm hoping 6.2 will put a little life back into this thing.

The SD40 picked it up a couple of days ago, but the HDVR2 hasn't been assigned a place at the table just yet it would appear.

And that 25 minutes can be more like 35. Don't get excited like I did to come home and find out it was "pending restart". I restarted it, and blew out nearly 25 minutes of the CSI ep that I didn't know was going to be 2 hours long.

Just got 6.2

My DVR80 is much faster. It was getting slower and slower. I'm glad it finally upgraded. Now I don't have to worry about speed no more. I have 2 80gigs and 278 hours recording time.

I have 2 R10's and neither have 6.2 yet - but then again, I don't know if they're supposed to be upgraded anytime soon since I haven't seen anyone else with R10's post that they have received 6.2

Just got it on one of my HDVR2s. The guide is so much faster that I've switch to the DirecTV grid and it's at least as fast as the Tivo grid was before the upgrade... maybe faster. I love it. Speed improvement is the only thing I was looking for.

I got 6.2 on Friday on my RCA DVR40. Biggest complaint? It reset the "Channels that I receive". Didn't notice it until last night when it was attempting to record something off Showtime (which I don't subscribe to). They were able to keep my SP's and Wish Lists, why not "Channels that I receive"?

As I typed this post, I forced a call on my Samsung S4040R, and it also got the 6.2 update. At least on this unit, I'll know in advance I'll need to reset the Channels that I receive.
