Why did Hurley give a "thumbs up" to Walt on the plane?

ARGH!!! Stupid summer. I don't want to wait until next week, let alone sometime this fall.

So, Sawyer, Michael, and Jin are all stranded in the middle of the ocean and Sawyer has been shot. Damn.

Nice Twilight Zoney music at the end.

Ugh. It is going to be a long summer!

Hubby and I both jumped when Arnst blew himself up. And then later..."Dude. You have Arnst on you." Ewwww!!

At the end when they lifted the hatch and stared down in amazement, both my daughter and I yelled "TWINKIES!" "Thousands & thousands of twinkies"

I'm thinking that the woman/girl who threw the bomb/grenade onto the boat is Alex.

I was wondering who opened the ark of the covenant?!!?

Also, I half expected the ending to be ala Jaws with Sawyer, Michael and Jin on the pontoon singing 'Show me the way to go home'

For those who haven't been to Sunday School in a while, Aaron was the brother of Moses and the first High Priest of Israel. This was back in the good old days of animal sacrifice. (He also served as a translator for the stuttering Moses when he went to ask Pharoh to "let my people go".

I just want to give credit where credit is due to those people who speculated that Black Rock was a slave ship. Good job.

Now, on a bummer note, I sure am glad I recorded it, because trying to give your undivided attention to a show like this (that requires no less) and take care of a 22 month old at the same time is not a smart move.

LOVED Hurley on the old guy's scooter though...that had me cracking up.

So much for the "spoiler" that said Arzt would be a major character next season.

Did not expect to see another boat...when I saw the "blip blip" on the radar, I figured there was some kind of monster coming.

TOTALLY missed the glimpse of the monster (had diaper duty). Will have to re-watch it tomorrow, I guess.

I so called that Walt was the target last week. A little foggy on the details, I admit, but nonetheless....

I think Walt remembered seeing Hurley on TV when he walked by on the plane.

Hmm....don't know whether I liked this finale or not. Kind of felt like they left a little too much hanging. Also, the whole boat thing had me kind of pissed! Looking forward to next season. I have to say though, as much as I thoroughly enjoy this show, I hope they don't drag it on for too long. We can only wait so long for them to be rescued before the show starts to get repetitive and old.

Loved Hurley in the airport. The music they chose was perfect. Liked how the music kind of stuttered to a stop when he was halted at the metal detector.

Seemed as if Hurley wasn't meant to make it on that plane. It's as if all the bad luck happening preventing him catching the flight was actually good luck. He fought the good luck, though, and made the flight. oops.

Gee, Sawyer never seems to get a break. I thought for sure he'd get to take a few out with that gun.

Walt was pretty terrified, but I have the feeling he's going to figure out he's able to take care of himself. i.e., perhaps a polar bear or something even better will show up and help him out.

So the whole early argument about "did none of the other passengers not notice Locke in a wheelchair on theplaine?" is answered.

Count me in the "WHERE WAS THE MONSTER" camp... all I saw was the blurs that Kate and Jack saw... did I miss something? I didn't delete this ep just in case I need to review.

Ahhh, but was it natural, easy-to-explain-by-natural-causes smoke? Or mystical, other-worldly magical smoke?

Looked fairly sentient (or at least purposeful) to me ...

Where was Michelle Rodriguez this week? Did she only have a 1 episode contract or will she become a regular starting next year? Too many unanswered questions, get the summer over already and lets get started with season 2!

I was not one that thought we would see what was inside the hatch, I actually thought the dynamite would not work. But a ladder leading to something else is intriguing...

So did anyone catch the soccer team standing in the airport? All of the uniform numbers facing the camera were Hurley's numbers, in the correct order...4-8-15-16-23-42 Very cool!

Locke not in a wheel chair on the plane, question answered.

Arzt blows himself, didn't see that coming...

Sun may be on to something, they are being punished and must redeem themselves, all of them, before the island lets them go. Just my theory.

Hurley finally sees the numbers on the hatch...

The monster was fairly cool...Running it back in slow motion on TiVo you can see what appears to be eyes for a second or two...
