When the guy said he would spend the money buying the General Lee, my wife looked at me and said "this guy is the biggest loser ever."

My response was, "nope, remember his is only the VP of the Dukes of Hazzard fan club, think what the President must be like."

This should be good summer programming. But I think the spaz guy is exagerating his persona. Just a little too Screech for me.

We went to different high schools. And have you seen some of the NBA cheerleaders up close, without makeup? It's a different reality.

"women do not find intelligence sexy."

Definitely not girls of that age. But wait until they are in their mid to late 20s, discover that hot jerks will never be able to support them financially, and end up marrying a smart guy who brings home some serious bank.

Overall I was a little disappointed by the show...maybe ill give one more episode a try.

Look at the one guy on the show who got some action. He showed absolutely no sign of a personality. All he did was slip shirtless into a hot tub with little Miss I-Hate-To-Be-Alone.

None of these girls will be sticking with any of these guys. But they will get all weepy and tell them what great people they are.

The premise of the show is that these hot girls are going to teach these geeky guys how to be less geeky. If they actually get on with that, this show might get interesting. With a couple of exceptions, these guys aren't really all that bad looking (as far as I, as a hetero male, can tell). But, as we should have learned from Average Joe, when it comes right down to it, most women (at least most hot women) are going to choose the hottest guy they can find and hope that he's not a jerk.

Average looking women have learned to look for other qualities in a man because the hot guys are unavailable to them. Older women also look for other qualities, because their priorities have changed. This doesn't mean that average-looking or older women no longer find hot guys hot, it just means that they've decided other qualities are more important. These are the things geeks should learn--not hip-hop dancing.

I watched it.

It was a bit scripted. I don't believe those guys are as dorky as they are pretending to be, and one of them is even model hot.

I don't believe those girls are a stupid as they pretend to be, and none of them are model hot.

That's said, it's a sweet show with a lot of heart. It's everything that "Hell's Kitchen" is not. It's already set up the characters, made us root for a couple, and they did it by being supportive of each other and human in their interactions. I liked it, and it stays. It even passed the HAF, which is pretty rare.

I had a mental block when they asked who the Prime Minister of England was. I also couldn't remember who ran with Al Gore.

I am so tired of you all objectifying women like that... you know there is more to a woman than how her body looks

You gotta admit... it is hard to fake the nose bleeds!

I liked it and set up season pass.

My favorite part was when one of the girls was studying and something came up about 1942 and she says, "Wasn't that when Columbus sailed the ocean blue?" Priceless!

Yeah.... The girls are a lot like the typical people you see on Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" bits.

It's purely a matter of preference but the cheer girl is near the bottom of my list. I got a good look at her face. Seems like she was out in the sun too long or something.

Oh well the rest of you can enjoy her

I agree... but my point was these girls are far beyond the middle-amercia-high-school cheerleader in terms of social status. I think my favorite was Lauren, she got her teeth whitened just for me

I actually like this show, you can't write comedy like this, the girls' answers (and guys' lack of dancing) making me laugh the entire show! I had a phone call midway through, was there one guy in bed with two girls, or was I seeing double? The poor geek! My SP is set! Bring on the funnies!

No need to apologize. They're lying to you.

Look. How many women think Brad Pitt is sexy? Many (most?). And he's dumb as a rock.

How many women think Stephen Hawking is sexy? Few. So few that they could probably be properly classified as paraphiliacs.
