Put me in the "maybe" column. What's happening on Friday/Sunday (if anything) so I can plan my travel?

Nothing on the docket for Friday or Sunday yet.... was still in pre-planning stages.

But since ya brought it up.. any ideas, folks? I was gonna suggest a Happy Hour-y thing for Friday.. and someone (bsnelson, I think) had an idea for Sunday.

Any suggestions?

I'll need to be at DFW around 1 p.m. on Sunday, so whatever y'all got in mind, make it early? Please?

Mini Golf on Friday? And maybe some delicious Steaks at a throw-your-peanut-shells-on-the-floor place? That would be my vote. But I'm open to almost anything.

Are multiple showings of the movie on tap for Saturday?

Heh, too funny... I was just thinking about that. And there's a Putt Putt place nearby, too. Anyone else up for Mini Golf?

That'd be Texas Land and Cattle. And there's one of those close by as well. We could do that for dinner on Friday night.

And speaking of good grub... when do folks want to do a Brisket Tacos run? I was thinking Friday afternoon, personally.

At the moment, no.. time constraints will probably prevent it. I'm open to suggestions, though.

(about seeing the movie multiple times)

I'm really flexible on activities... I'm just throwin' out a couple of my favorites. But I do want to see the movie more than once during the weekend. Perhaps a Friday afternoon matinee after I get checked in. Brisket and Browncoats? A possibility!

Don't sweat it. The brisket tacos are fabulous, but I don't crave them THAT much that I'd want everybody to change the itinerary.

Besides, I have to come back to Dallas again someday -- on a Thursday -- for the buffalo burgers!

If we're doing a get together on Saturday afternoon, and the movie Saturday evening, I'm not sure we'd have time for BT's that day.

Although I'm not personally familiar with it, I understand that there is a third part of each day called "morning" that precedes the others.

*shrug* Gray, if ya wanna do it at 11am right after ya get off the plane, I'm down with that. I'm sure I can corral a few others. I'd even face the wrath of Samsara and get him there at 11am (or as he calls it, "the middle of the night") for ya.

The basic description: Brisket meat in a flour (or corn, if you wanna go weird) tortilla with grilled onions. You add on the brisket juices, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and avocado slice to your liking.

But really, that's far too simplistic to define what is, in essence, an adventure in flavor.

The real description: A little slice of heaven.

Someday I am getting there for these...just not this time.

Bryan and I have a good relationship with the owner. I am sure he would make you one if you wanted one.

Everytime I see that I cringe! Just how big might our gatherings be if more people actually bothered to check the meets section.

Thanks for the offer!

But there's really not enough time on this trip. And I'd rather come on a Thursday, because what I really want is to hang out with the DFW bunch. After all, I can get a buffalo burger in plenty of places (although I'm sure this place has the best).

Heh.

Nope. Not teasing. Still a lot of details to work out though. So it's definitely a maybe still. But I'm trying REALLY hard.

Woo-HOO!!!!!

It'll be SO awesome to meet you, Ebenezer, considering how much time we've spent in WoW.

Although, I suspect that Mikkel_Knight's gonna be disappointed when he finds out you're going, and he can't.
