Don't you think rose knows how to keep the whites white and the brights bright? She's even got a hi-tech washer/dryer now.

I heard "you find Walt, Michael" as well. Right away. My husband asked what he said, I told him what I heard, and we rewound and played again.

I think he may *mean* "YOU'LL find Walt, Michael" but since he is just learning English...

I also made the comment about Sun's white pants to my husband! They all do look too clean every week!

I liked the episode and thought we had some interesting character development on a couple of the tail section survivors. I enjoyed it.

I thought it was funny when Hurley said "You feed the dog?"

I'm guessing he was jealous of the dog...

Using the attempts to anagram the spellings of Mr. Echo/Eko/etc.....

Echo is often military speak for when you use full words to signify a single letter, right? For instance Echo-Charlie-1 = EC1.

So let's shorten Echo to "E".....Mister E.....Mystery.....

I know that is sort of a smeek, but is it really a smeek if take a different spin on it?

Or maybe Mr. Echo is a former military guy?

Did the shot of the "others" walking look choppy or filmed differently to any of you? It seemed like that to me, insinuating that they are not normal humans. This could explain why they dont leave tracks etc.

No, that's pretty standard smeeking, since that was already posted a page ago.

I didn't take what Mr. Echo said about them not leaving tracks to mean there was something supernatural about them or anything like that. I just figured he meant they were skilled at not leaving tracks. Also, aren't the people on the boat who took Walt part of the same group of "others?" They seemed like normal humans - physiologically at least, not necessarily in their behavior.

I don't remember exactly, but it was something to do with losing Michael's trail and needing to go back to pick it up.

I believe he said something about him having lost Michael's track...that he had to backtrack and pick it up again. Though I'm not sure why he told Jin to stay there. If he though the tracks went a different direction, wouldn't he want to take Jin with him?

maybe smeeking...

Major spoiler.

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
a MAJOR female character is dying next episode. Not a male character. When I first heard that (tv guide I think) my first guess was shannon. I'm still thinking shannon.

You can't end a spoiler tag at the beginning. Take out the / in the first spoiler.

Wow, four pages into the thread... and no one noticed the obvious stunner of the episode?

When we saw the teddy bear go by wasn't it obvious who that was?

Is this episode over yet? Not much of nothing happened in this episode. I don't particularly care how Jin & Sun met.

I think everybody and his brother knew where Sun's ring would be.
Michael's an idiot. His friend came to help him look for Walt and he sends him away?
Jin's an idiot. Pay attention to the tracker. Of course, what are the odds of there being three expert trackers on the same plane?
I *can't stand* this new Ana Lucia woman. Can't stand her. Somebody kill her, please.

bah three weeks.

good episode. nothing too jaw dropping but interesting none the less.

I really think now that we know about the different experiments being done on the island it helps explain some of the events that have happened.

agreed. I'm sure the "Others" agree too and will probably do so.

I really thought one of the new survivors was going to get killed in this episode by one of the "Others". I was crossing my fingers for Ana.

According to TV.com, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's character is named Dr. Ako.

They should have been playing the song "Radar Love" when they were all walking by. Nice catch Frank_M.

My captioning turns on whenever I hit mute. I just jump back a few seconds, then hit mute, see what I want to see, unmute, and carry on! Works great!
