What Joules said. Nothing beats a hangover like some CB Biscuits and Gravy!

I'd like to vote for anywhere except IHOP, but that's not really possible with the standard poll choices.

Just looking at the hotel website, it appears that the courtyard has a full service breakfast buffett.

Oops - missed the poll. Another vote for Cracker Barrel here!!

Or, how about we meet in the Hotel restaurant in our jammies and robes? Better for the nap that is sure to follow.

I'd probably vote now for the hotel restaurant because I am NOT a morning person, given that that's an option.

Can someone find out if the hotel brunch is open to anyone and post the cost/hours/menu? It seems like that or Craker Barrel are the best bets.

Eek .. Playing this one close to the wire...

Just called the hotel and found out:

They have a full buffet / from 7am - 11am / $8.95 / mostly breakfast stuff - belgian waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruits, etc... she said it's pretty decent.

She suggested I call back with a head-count if we're interested and they'll try to pull together some tables and such - but no guarantees b/c they don't officially take reservations.

Mmmmmm. Biscuits and gravy. That sounds good. Is country ham a big thing up in that area too?

I'd rather do cracker barrel than a hotel buffet, but I'll follow the group

Well, I think Craker Barell may be a better option since it is more flexible and has more items. If no one objects, why don't we say Craker Barel at around 11?

Is it possible to call ahead there? We might be a large group and every time I've been to CB, the wait is LONG. (They make EXCELLENT french toast. )

I'm in for brunch... but only because there'll be a crowd of people there with cars, and I still need to bum a ride back to DCA on Sunday.

I knew I said I wouldn't be posting, but I'm an addict. Joules and I just had lunch at the Cracker Barrel. 1) It was greasy (as in greasy and awesome). 2) It is literally right next door to the hotel, easily to stuble there. 3) I think it looks much better than anything that would actually be in thehotel.

I would have been hesitant in choosing it beforehand, but i was quite yummy.

I do actually love me some Cracker Barrel, and I haven't been to one in a while, count me in for the 11 AM brunch.

Though I admit, I'm probably not as yummy as either CB or for that matter, TB...

Well, I've never been to a Cracker Barrel - ever. So I think we have to go.

And I will do my best to be yummy, too.
