Just a bump to remind everyone that the poll only has a few more days to go, so please make sure you vote and offer opinions for/against particular dates. After Thanksgiving, we've got to get the ball rolling.

Seriously, I hope that's all just a joke.

It's only fair that everyone gets to voice their opinion. If there is some sort of multiple voting going on just to inflate certain numbers, that's WAY not cool.

You know it's impossible to vote more than once. I think Gregor was joking, so I made a joke, too.

So, Mr Waldingrl....which dates are you lobbying for?

I'm not lobbying for any dates.

I voted what works best for us.

I was just hoping people weren't messing with their cookies or something to allow multiple votes.

That's all, Mr. Course.

AFAIK, the forum software keeps track of which users have already voted, so messing with cookies wouldn't help.

based on the turnout it looks like you will be able to come, so what are you worried about

For the record I didn't vote for June 26, but in actuality it doesn't really matter to me since I won't have any trouble getting time off in June.

ah, the constraints of a job.

end of month - bad
end of quarter - even badder
end of year - the worst

but majority rules - maybe next time

I never voted in this poll because any of those dates would work for me.

As we used to say in my microeconomics class, these options all fall along the same indifference curve for me.

Or, for the layperson, "It's all the same to me."

The only thing worse is the first week of the Month, First week of the quarter and the first week of the fiscal year.

None of my friends get that certain times of the month are bad in terms of work commitments.

Are you the auditor or the auditee?

I have to deal on an annual basis with Federal Reserve Exams, FDIC & State Exams as well as the annual audit. Seems like I spend more time preparing document requests than I do normal work things like posting on TC.

Auditee. We just finished up at the end of October. Now we're still putting away all of the crap we had to pull out to prove our procedures.

Today is a big TC day for me. I have a number of things to do, but no one else is here, so I am unmotivated.

Not that it looks like it matters, I hope we can narrow down a date soon for the actual con, since I want to use a frequent flyer ticket, they are still available right now but are usually in short supply for las vegas.

I tried that last year, but it was easier to buy a ticket and then upgrade it to 1st class instead of getting a freebee.

Continental doesn't let you use FF miles to upgrade from coach to first class anymore. So I'll be flying jetBlue again.

last I check jet blue was still going to be about $300,, I'd rather take the free flight in coach if I can. If I can't JetBlue will probably be the way I go though.

Voted June 12-16, but I'm really very indifferent to the date -- with the exception of the first option probably not working.
