Yes, that's THE POINT. They made it reboot and download new software so it would be up to date immediately when you get it. You want to make it seem like the devil, so go ahead. There's no convincing you. You are dead set on this being a bad product, so have your bottle. Deep down, you know it's not so bad, and so does everybody else.
Actually, I am excited about the potential of this product. I may not like that it needs to update the software on day one, but it's all for the best.

As for tomorrow.. I am going to the SQL2005 and Visual Studio 2005 launch event tomorrow (following by bowling)... So I am not going to be home till around 11pm CST... (sorry guys, I hopefully will have wi-fi access at the launch event).
