Ironically, the "Terms of Use" link actually points to a Disney.go website (aka: ABC). Interesting....

I do like how the writers, producers, etc. are dropping hints on the web as well. Very creative!

Good Ep. Eko's staring is getting to me a little bit, though I like his character. Agreed, Michael's reaction bugged me. Glad to see Kate breaking down, she and Sawyer looked very couplish. Good on Jack to not kiss her back On this island, you certainly only have your word and honor.

Do you think Ana Lucia should have attended the funeral?

My whole post on that was just a joke (facts and all).

I loved this episode. I thought it was in the top 5 of the series. The storyline with Kate was really interesting.

We now know why her Mom flipped out in the hospital, and that she was going to jail not for her "boyfriend's" death, but for her "father's."

Very solid episode!!!

I totally new the house was going to blow up as Kate road away.....

Hurley's line to Jack was also another classic one:

"so, Rose's husband is white...didn't see that one coming..."

Pretty much summing up everyone here!

Why was Kate flicking the lighter at the front door? I'm assuming the gas was already on. She ran a risk of blowing herself up? I guess she just didn't care.

Kate saw the horse right after the car wreck. Was the horse really there, just like on the island when Sawyer saw it? Does this mean that Kate has some kind of "ability" just like we believe Walt has?

Did anyone happen to catch Sayid on the television when Kate went to visit her father?

Looks like it could be him on my SD recording, anyone have a HD shot of it? It's 46 minutes in just as she walks in the door.

I could've sworn I've read all the other threads... were the two letters, and the prompt that says "submit" then has a blank button below it always there on various pages?

OK, as someone who hates Kate, I still really enjoyed this episode... mainly because the subplots work very well.

Things I liked: (trying to be positive this week)
1. Eko is the 2nd dopest character on the show. After Locke, of course. (cuz I'm down with the Men of Faith, what about you?).
2. The Wayne/Sawyer parallel was so telegraphed (LOL) but I thought the reveal of Wayne being her real dad was a nice touch.
3. Gotta love Hurley. This show would really collapse from it's own weight if he wasn't around to lighten things up.
4. Love that the supernatural element/power of the island has been confirmed. Having said that, how will other peoples' issues (Locke, Eko & Sayid, in particular) manifest themselves now? (or much like Locke 'seeing the monster' in the season 1, will we never find out?)

We need that Eko flashback, like yesterday.

Ekko said that Locke may call the Jewish Bible the "Old Testament", probably meaning that he would not refer to that way. I wonder if he is Jewish? He was silent for 40 days--a number common in Judaism. He knows the Jewish Bible. He carries a rod like Aaron, the high priest of Israel and brother to Moses (and, of course, the name of Claire's baby).

Incidently, there is a Negro tribe in Africa that claims to be ancestors to [edit: i meant "descended from", obviously] the priestly class of Israel. I doubt that that ties in, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

In all, an angle worth exploring...

GREAT episode. Loved it!!

Does anyone think that was Walt on the other end? I don't. For me, there was something about the additional part of the movie, then that part that to me means something really bad is going to happen.

Has it? I don't think it has. There's no reason to believe that Sawyer was channeling Wayne, since he could have been talking about something else in his delirious state. The horses could have been coincidence, and as Ekko said, "Don't confuse coincidence with fate" (I'd say that they're not coincidental, but probably connected in a way we haven't imagined yet.) I'd also say that the more likely it seems that there IS a supernatural element on the island, the less likely it is that there is.

Cool tool I use is "bugmenot". It stores user ids and passwords to a large number of sites. It's a right-clickable extension for FireFox, but you can also just go to bugmenot.com I think. It worked first try for that link.

Well, I was being bold to stir debate.

But, I really do think that it has been confirmed - especially since Sayid admitted to seeing Walt (which, honestly, I wasn't buying in either 'Abandoned' or 'Collision'). And Kate's familiarity with the horse - and the fact that Sawyer makes a point of that 'fact' - points me in that direction.

Of course, as you say, it could be some other connection that we haven't imagined yet.

Whosever on the other end of the terminal then knows Michael, knows he is a dad, and that his child isn't with him. Spooky. If not Walt, then I doubt it's anyone from the true outside world.

And if it is Walt, then it's not a communication with the outside world so maybe it won't count towards their "Incident" total.

Anyone notice that in the missing clip that the Dr.'s hair is different and looks older? You think that is them just messing up, filming the scene at a later time? Or is it possible that the clip is planted there (or Eko is in on it somehow) after they blow the hatch?
